Ingredients
  • 8 tomatoes (2 3/4 lbs. total)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 tsp. each finely chopped Rosemary, Thyme, and Oregano leaves
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions
  1. Prepare a gas or charcoal grill for direct, high heat.
  2. Meanwhile, cut tomatoes in half crosswise and set on a platter; liberally season with salt, pepper and herbs. Drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Place tomatoes cut side up on cooking grate; cover gas grill. Cook without turning until hot in center, 5 to 6 minutes. Transfer with a wide spatula to a clean platter.

I love the fresh herbs you used for this recipe.


Hubby and I were just out looking at our tomato crop (about 10 plants). This will be a great recipe. Freshly grated parmesan on top would be killer. (As the kids would say). L.
