Buttermilk Cornbread Loaf

- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 Tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1 Tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups buttemilk shopping list
- 1/2 cup shortening shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
How to make it
- PREHEAT OVEN 375 degrees
- Grease a 8 1/2x4 1/2-inch loaf pan
- Cobined all dry ingredinets cut in shortening with 2 knifes untill mixture resembles coarse crumbs
- Whisk together buttermilk, eggs in small bowl make well in center of dry ingrediients Add buttermilk mixture stir well batter will be stiff spread evenly in pan {remove all air bubbles. Bake 50-55 minutes cool in pan remove from pan cool another 10 minutes serve warm
