Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick mix
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3/4 cup raspberries or blueberries
  • Other mix-ins... Cranberries soaked in orange juice, toasted almonds, chocolate or white chocolate pieces, raisins...

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Wisk together dry ingredients.
  3. Stir in buttermilk until barely mixed.
  4. Gently fold in berries.
  5. Drop large scoops onto nonstick cookie sheet (I usually get 8-10 large scones). I prefer to "tuck" berries into the batter as I don't like burned berries. If you don't have a nonstick pan, a light coating of PAM will do.
  6. Bake 15 minutes and check for doneness. Larger scones will take longer. Best when warm.

Gee! I wish I had this recipe a few weeks ago when I had some fresh blueberries. I love easy stuff.

Wonderful, I'm with Jett.
