Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Wisk together dry ingredients.
  • Stir in buttermilk until barely mixed.
  • Gently fold in berries.
  • Drop large scoops onto nonstick cookie sheet (I usually get 8-10 large scones). I prefer to "tuck" berries into the batter as I don't like burned berries. If you don't have a nonstick pan, a light coating of PAM will do.
  • Bake 15 minutes and check for doneness. Larger scones will take longer. Best when warm.
