Ingredients
  • 1/3 C. packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • 2 large apples
  • 1/4 C. chopped pecans, toasted

Directions
  1. In a large skillet, cook and stir the brown sugar and butter over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted.
  2. Cut each apple into 16 slices; add to brown sugar mixture.
  3. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in pecans.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  6. Serve warm.

This recipe sounds delicious... I love chunky applesauce, but this sounds like pie without the crust!
