How to make it

  • Combine brown sugar and whipping cream in a heavy saucepan. Boil until a candy thermometer reads 240 F (stirring constantly).
  • Take off the heat and plunge pan into cold water, to an inch of the top of the pan. Beat with portable beaters until mixture thickens. Pour into a buttered pan. Cool and cut into squares.

Hey I've never heard of a brown sugar fudge! Almost like a formed praline, sounds like? This is a definite 'will try' for the holidays!

I don't think I have ever seen a fudge recipe with only 2 ingredients. I'm a sucker for fudge. Theres a place here thats called Perry's Nut House and every time I get up there I buy at least 2 lbs. of their Butter Rum fudge. It's the best!!
This one sounds great too. I will HAVE to give it a try. Thanks!!
