Ingredients

Bread:

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 cup veg. oil

2 cups flour

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp ground cloves

1 tsp baking soda

3 eggs

2 jars (4 oz jars) any flavor of fruit baby food

1 cup chopped walnuts

Topping:

1/3 stick butter

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup milk

1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.

Mix all bread ingredients with mixer.

Pour into two large or four small greased loaf pans.

Bake for 1 hour for large loaves or 30 minutes for small loaves, until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

TOPPING:

Mix all topping ingredients, except baking soda, in a sauce pan.

Place over mediium heat.

Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.

Remove from heat and mix in baking soda.

Drizzle over loaves.
