How to make it

  • Salt the inside of the fish.
  • Mix the sherry, melted butter and lemon juice.
  • Place the dressed fish in a wide pan and cover with the marinade. Let stand for 1 hour.
  • Wrap bacon around the fish and hold in place with skewers.
  • Grill over a hot fire basting frequently.
  • Grill until the bacon is crisp,
  • turning only once.

    Oh, I like the sound of this! Guess what is my next way to prepare trout! ( I love fish and trout in particular has such a nice taste)

    OK..exactly what is a dresses fish? And don't say not naked....ha! This is a new expression for me...I grew up in NY but my family is all from Kansas...is naked without skin and dresses with skin? Or is it seasoned with bread crumbs?
