Growing up, my mom's version of this dish was macaroni and cheese with tuna and peas stirred in. Or just fish sticks! Haha, fish sticks. Ohh, I'm hungry. This recipe is good, believe it! You may want to use less cheese, I just like to eat my fee... More

Ingredients
  • Bag of Egg Noodles
  • One big can or two small cans of Tuna
  • Celery, chopped
  • 2 cups of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Can of Sweet Peas
  • Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 cup or more of sliced Cremini Mushrooms
  • 1 Tablespoon of Melted Butter
  • 1/4 Cup of Mayonnaise
  • Chopped Vidalia Onion
  • Milk
  • Bread Crumbs (I like the type with herbs and junk mixed in)
  • Parsley
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 'Doolittle' by The Pixies (Drugs optional)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Pour Mushroom Soup into the casserole dish (or pan if you don't have a fancy glass dish) and add an empty-soup-tin-full of milk.
  3. Stir up Tuna, Noodles, Cheese, Celery, Peas, Mushrooms, Butter, Onion, Mayonnaise and Salt & Pepper. I also throw some garlic powder in there, but that's me.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or so.
  5. Put Breadcrumbs and however much chopped parsley you want on top.
  6. Bake for another 10 minutes or until the noodles are tender.
  7. Serve & Enjoy!
