Chocolate Crinkle- Top Cookies

- 2 cups (12-ounce package) semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Microwave 1 cup chocolate morsels in medium, microwave-safe bowl on high power for 1 minute, stir. Microwave at additional 10 to 20 second intervals, stirring until smooth, cool to room temprature. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl.
- Beat sugar, butter and vanilla in large mixer bowl until crumbly. Beat in melted chocolate. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in remaining morsels. Cover, chill just until firm. Shape dough into 1 1/2- inch balls, roll in powdered sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake in preheated 350F oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until sides are set but centers are still slightly soft. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, remove to wire racks to cool completely.
- Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
