How to make it

  • Mix sugar and cornstarch in a sauce pan over med heat.
  • Gradually stir in milk.
  • Stir constantly until it thickens and boils.
  • Boil and stir 1 minute.
  • Stir atleast half of hot mixture slowly into yolks then add the mix back into the pan.
  • Boil and stir constantly 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla and 3/4 cp coconut.
  • Pour into prepared pie shell.
  • Wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate over night.
  • Before serving garnish with cool whip and toasted coconut.

    wow i have never heard of a coconut cream pie but it sounds delicious! is it hard to make as im just new to cooking im more of a burner teeheehee also would kids like this or is it more of a big persons food?
