Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400. Place sausage in large roasting pan. Drizze oil over. Bake until browned, stirring once, about 15 minutes. Add chicken pieces, potatoes, onion and garlic. Pour broth over. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and bake 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
  • Add red and green peppers, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes to chicken. Cover and bake additional 20 minutes, basting occasionally. Add green beans and bake until juices run clear when chicken is pierced with knife, about 10 more minutes or until it is done to your liking - I like my chicken in this falling off the bone.

This dish is a smash hit! The only down side, is that when I turn my oven on for that long it heats up my house way too much! This will be a dish to save for when its a little cooler in my parts!!

Hi and I am glad to be back. Glad I did not miss this post! This dish sounds very like a dish I use to get when we frequented an Italian restaurant in our old town - can't wait to try! I know this is a 5 fork recipe!
