Basil Shrimp

- 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, melted (or omit butter and use 1/3 or so cup olive oil total) shopping list
- 1 1/2 lemons, juiced shopping list
- 3 tablespoons good mustard shopping list
- 1/2 cup minced fresh basil shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste. shopping list
- 3 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined shopping list
- skewers shopping list
How to make it
- If you're using wooden skewers, soak them in water to cover for at least 20 minutes.
- Mix all ingredients but the shrimp in a medium bowl.
- Add the shrimp and toss or stir to coat
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1-4 hours
- Remove shrimp from marinade, and thread onto skewers
- Preheat grill to high
- Place skewers on the grill and cook until done, about 4-5 minutes.

Grilling season is upon us and the first thing to disappear is grilled shrimp. Great way to use that fresh basil from my garden

This really sounds good. Always looking for good shrimp recipes. I might back off on some of the mustard to bring out the basil.
