Ingredients

2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup butter, melted (or omit butter and use 1/3 or so cup olive oil total)

1 1/2 lemons, juiced

3 tablespoons good mustard

1/2 cup minced fresh basil

4 cloves garlic, minced

salt and pepper to taste.

3 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined

Directions

If you're using wooden skewers, soak them in water to cover for at least 20 minutes.

Mix all ingredients but the shrimp in a medium bowl.

Add the shrimp and toss or stir to coat

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1-4 hours

Remove shrimp from marinade, and thread onto skewers

Preheat grill to high

Place skewers on the grill and cook until done, about 4-5 minutes.
