Chocolate Cake With Chocolate Pecan Frosting

- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 2 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1/2 cups vegetable oil shopping list
- 3 tablespoons cocoa shopping list
- 1/2 cups buttermilk shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons cocoa shopping list
- 6 tablespoon milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 2 cups powdered sugar shopping list
- 2 cups chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Combine flour, sugar and salt in large mixing bowl.
- Combine butter, water, oil and cocoa in saucepan then bring to boil stirring constantly.
- Pour over flour mixture then mix in buttermilk, soda, eggs and vanilla.
- Pour into large greased jelly roll pan and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
- Prepare icing by placing butter, cocoa and milk in saucepan and heat until hot.
- Do not boil then add remaining ingredients then pour over warm cake and serve.
