Grilled Tomatoes

- 4 or 5 ripe red tomatoes shopping list
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil shopping list
- 5 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves shopping list
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated shopping list
How to make it
- Cut the tomatoes in half crosswise, season with Salt and Pepper and a
- dash of granulated garlic. Heat the oil in a small frying pan over
- medium heat.. Add the garlic, and cook until just starting to turn
- golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes. Pour the garlic and oil into a heatproof
- bowl.
- Oil the grill and set for high heat. Place the tomatoes cut side down
- and grill for 3 to 5 minutes. Turn over, top with the garlic oil
- mixture and continue to cook for another 3 minutes. Remove from grill
- and top with thyme, salt and pepper, a dash of granulated garlic and
- the parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.

Yummers. We love those tomatoes around here and this sounds exquisite. Will be making some this weekend as I just picked 10 large tomatoes yesterday that I need to use. Thanks for posting. You have my 5.

These were SO GOOD! I forgot the thyme :( Oh well next time! I might have left mine on too long cause they got a little smushy but the flavor was awesome!!!! Super garlicky and delicious!! My IMI review more
