Whole Plum Cake Recipe
Old fashoined plum cake recipe from the old, old days of baking given to me by my friend Tessy of Germany.

Ingredients
  • 4 Eggs
  • Sugar
  • Flour
  • Butter
  • Plums (small type, also referred to as "prune plums")

Directions
  1. Weigh your eggs, to determine their weight
  2. Use equal amounts of sugar, flour, butter (that equal the weight of your 4 eggs).
  3. Cream sugar and butter.
  4. Add eggs one at a time beating after each addition.
  5. Beat for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Fold in flour.
  7. Pour into round pan.
  8. Top with whole plums.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  10. This recipe dates back approximately 120 years!!!
