Mandelbrot Biscotti

- 1-1/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup sweet butter melted shopping list
- 3 tablespoons brandy shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 teaspoon almond extract shopping list
- 1 cup unsalted almonds chopped shopping list
- 1 cup diced dried apricots chopped shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2-1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 1/2 tablespoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix sugar with butter, brandy, vanilla, almond extract, nuts, apricots and eggs then mix well.
- Stir in flour, baking powder and salt then form into a long loaf and place on cookie sheet.
- Bake 30 minutes or until firm and softly cake like then remove from oven and cool slightly.
- When cool enough to handle slice into 1/2" diagonal slices and return to cookie sheet.
- Bake 20 minutes long turning once until both sides are brown flecked and toasted.
- Cool thoroughly and store in airtight jar.
