Feather Light Biscuits

- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1/2-3/4 cup heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/2 stick melted butter shopping list
How to make it
- Grease a 10 inch cake pan with Crisco, set aside
- In large bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder and sugar
- Stir the ingredients with a fork
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of heavy cream and the sour cream
- Add the cream mixture to the dry ingredients, slowly
- Mix lightly with a fork
- Gather the dough together by hand
- If it doesn't completely come together, add a little more of the heavy cream until it does
- Pat the dough into a ball
- Roll it out on a lightly floured board, forming a disc
- With a biscuit cutter, cut into 12 biscuits
- Dip both sides of each biscuit in melted butter
- Place them in the prepared pan with sides touching
- Place in a 400 degree oven for about 13-15 minutes or until lightly browned
