Saucey Chicken Parmesean

- 4 skinned chicken breast fillets shopping list
- 1 egg, lightly beaten shopping list
- ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs (mixed herbs or Italian herbs) shopping list
- 1 tablespoons butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 tablespoon olive oil shopping list
- 1 tbs garlic powder shopping list
- 3 Cups of your favorite pasta sauce (I use Prego) shopping list
- 1 Cup shredded mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 1/2 Cup shredded parmesean cheese (mix with breadcrumbs) shopping list
- Additional parmesean cheese for garnish shopping list
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley shopping list
- 16 Oz fettuccuine, cooked. shopping list
How to make it
- Place chicken fillets between two sheets of plastic wrap; flatten to ¼ inch thickness, using a meat mallet or rolling pin. Dip chicken in egg, and dip in breadcrumbs and parmesean mixture.
- Melt butter in large skillet or frypan,add olive oil and garlic powder, cook chicken over medium-high heat until browned on both sides. Spoon pasta/tomato sauce over chicken; gently bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with cheese, cover and simmer five additional minutes or until cheese melt.
- Garnish with additional shredded parmesean cheese and parsley.
