Apple Crunch

- 3 - 4 Cups of fresh apples cored, peeled and sliced or fresh/canned fruit of choice; pears, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, rhubarb, or a combination of fruits of your choice shopping list
- 1/4 Cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 3/4 Cup All purpose flour shopping list
- 3/4 Cup White or brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 Tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 Tsp cinnamon (optional depending on fruit chosen) shopping list
- 1 egg (beaten) shopping list
- 1/3 Cup melted butter or margarine shopping list
How to make it
- Grease large baking dish/casserole.
- Peel, core, or hull etc chosen fruit and mix with 1/4 cup brown sugar in baking dish and set aside.
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon and set aside.
- Beat egg and mix with flour mixture and spread over top of fruit in baking dish.
- Melt enough butter to measure 1/3 cup and pour over fruit and flour mixture in baking dish.
- Bake in 375 degree oven for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Serve warm.
