Copycat Olive Garden Tortelloni Bolognese Recipe
A homemade dish that the whole family enjoys. Served with Ceasar Salad and bread sticks makes a wonderful meal.

Ingredients
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 8 oz. Italian sausage, skinned
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 18 oz. can crushed tomatoea
  • 1 tsp. fresh chopped rosemary
  • 1 tsp. fresh chopped sage
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 lbs Tortelloni
  • Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Directions
  1. Heat oil in a large pan.
  2. Add onion, carrot, celery and garlic and cook 5 minutes.
  3. Add meat and cook over medium heat, breaking up the meat as it is being browned, about 10 minutes
  4. Deglaze the pan with wine.
  5. Add tomatoes and remaining ingredients and stir.
  6. Simmer for 1 hour.
  7. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to directions; drain.
  8. Toss the hot pasta with the sauce.
  9. Top with parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
