Gingered Carrots

- 2 pounds carrots scraped shopping list
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger shopping list
- 1/2 cup orange juice shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
How to make it
- Cut carrots diagonally into 1/4" slices.
- Cook carrots in boiling water to cover 7 minutes or until tender then drain.
- Keep warm in a serving dish.
- Combine next 4 ingredients in saucepan then gradually add orange juice stirring well.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring constantly.
- Boil 1 minute stirring constantly then stir in butter and pour over carrots and toss well.
