Mini Chip Shortbread

This dish is one I have shared with my physical therapists office and they gobble it down in no time. As a matter of fact one of the therapists call it "rediculous" delicious
Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups all- purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract or almond works too shopping list
- 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 13x9x2 in. baking pan
- Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl at medium speed until fluffy. Add flour and extract; blend well. Stir in chocolate chips; pat into prepared pan.
- Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes and cut into bars or triangles. Cool completely in pan or on wire rack.
