Tenntucky Blackberry Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients

1-1/4 cups sugar

1 cup self-rising flour

1 cup milk

1/2 cup butter, melted

2 cups frozen blackberries

Ice cream, optional

Directions

Whisk together 1 cup sugar, flour and milk just until blended, whisk in melted butter.

Pour batter into a lightly greased 12x8" or 11x8" baking dish, sprinkle blackberries and remaining 1/4 cup sugar evenly over batter.

Bake until golden brown and bubbly.

Top with a scoop of ice cream if desired.

I made this for someone who was diabetic and used Splenda instead of sugar. The crust is perfect on this! We will be using this crust for other cobblers.
