Anyone remember this mystery pie from the 80s? No one will guess the real mystery ingredient. Wasn't there also a Mock Apple Pie made with Ritz crackers???

Love this pie - they used to serve it at Wyatt's Cafeterias back in the day - out of business now. The first recipe we had for this particular pie called for Ritz crackers instead of saltines...was called Ritzy Pecan Pie...delicious by any name! And yes, have also made the Mock Apple from the Ritz...Thanks for a great post!

Yea, there's an apple pie that you use Ritz crackers and don't even use any apples!

SORRY, anyone not from the states...saltines are very bland salted or not square crackers.
