Back in the 80's when bread machines were just starting to come out on the market my parents bought a Magic Mill bread machine. This recipe is from the book that came with that machine. My mom would make it on Saturday's for us. It's a family favo... More

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 tsp. yeast
  • 3 c. bread flour
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 c. less 1 tbsp. hot water (130º-140º F)
  • 2 stiffly beaten egg whites

Directions
  1. Place ingredients in bread machine in order listed.
  2. Run machine through dough cycle.
  3. Stretch dough to cover lightly oiled deep dish pizza pan, and lightly oil the top of the dough.
  4. Cover and let rise an additional 20 minutes.
  5. Pre-bake the crust for 5 minutes in a 375º F oven.
  6. Remove and top with favorite pizza toppings.
  7. Return to oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until pizza is done.
