Extremely ez to make , great to serve right after a heavy meal or on a cold day . Or when you are nursing your flu ( which Im doing rite now ) , dis warm cake will soothe your throat .

Ingredients
  • 120 g butter
  • 2/3 Cdark brown sugar
  • 1/3 C dark muscavado sugar
  • 1 1 /2 C plain flour , 1 tsp baking soda , 1 tbsp cornflour , 3 tsp ginger powder - sifted
  • 1 egg , lightly beaten
  • 2/3 C warm full cream milk

Directions
  1. Grease and line a 9 inch square pan .
  2. Melt the butter and sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves ( I used microwave )
  3. Transfer to a large mixing bowl .
  4. Pre heat the oven at 180 deg C .
  5. Pour the sifted ing.
  6. Make a well at the center and pour the milk and egg .
  7. Use a wooden sppon and mix well .
  8. ( DO NOT OVERBEAT )
  9. Pour in the greased pan and bake for 30 mins .
  10. Cool and cut into triangles .
  11. Serve with custard and/or fresh fruits .
