How to make it

  • Granita: Place vinegar,oil,1/4tsp salt and seeded peeled tomato in a blender or food processor,process till smooth. Place tomato mixture into an 8" square baking dish;cover and freeze till firm,stirring twice during first 2 hours. Remove mixture from freezer;scrape entire mixture with a fork till fluffy.
  • Salad: Arrange tomatoe slices on a platter. Sprinkle tomoatoes with pepper and 1/4tsp salt. Top with granita. Sprinkle with basil.

    Love heirloom tomatoes fixed any way tere are so many varities of them to some sweet, tangy or have a lot of acit in them. got my five on these YUMMERS!!!!!!!
