St Louis Gooey Butter Cake

Recipe from a long ago friend.
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix shopping list
- 1 c. butter, melted shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1 16 oz box powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Combine cake mix, 1/2 cup butter and 1 egg.
- Beat well
- Press into greased 9x13 pan.
- Combined cream cheese, remaining 2 eggs, remaining 1/2 cup butter and box of powdered sugar.
- Blend until smoother.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over cake.
- Sprinkle with pecans
- Bake at 350 degres for 35045 minutes
- Cool
- Cut into squares
