Apple Crunch

- 1/3 C. plain flour shopping list
- 3/4 C. brown sugar, packed shopping list
- 1/3 C. margarine shopping list
- 5 to 6 medium size, tart apples to equal 4 C. (about 1/1/4 lbs.), peeled and sliced thin shopping list
How to make it
- Butter a 10" -by-6 1/2" baking dish. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Measure flour and sugar into a 2-quart mixing bowl.
- Add margarine and with a pastry blender (or 2 knives) cut together to make a crumbly mixture.
- Put sliced apples into prepared pan, spreading until level.
- Sprinkle sugar mixture over top.
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until top is golden brown and crunchy and apples are tender.
- Yields: 5 servings.
