Dads Sunday Morning coffee

This recipe was given to us during the "What John meant to me...." portion of the memorial service. We never laughed so hard! It is so typical of dad!!
Ingredients
- 1 aluminum coffee pot with warped lid shopping list
- water shopping list
- coffee shopping list
- 1 cigarette shopping list
How to make it
- Arrive at church early to assume your post of unofficial official greeter and coffee maker.
- Unlock doors, light cigarette and contemplate where the last meeting was that would have used the coffee pot and go look for it.
- Okay, you found the coffee pot.... check the sky for rain (Yeah right!! It never rains in Southern California!!) and then set up in the court yard.
- Take coffee pot to spigot and fill from the garden hose, let the cigarette hang from your mouth with a good inch of ash on it, if ash falls in, no problem, no one will notice!
- When some one comes by and comments that you can't fill the coffee pot from the garden hose, tell them it's the same water that runs through the faucets in the church.
- When they say "But you can't use the hose!" Respond: "Do you want to make the coffee?"
- Set filled coffee pot on the table, put stem and basket in, carefully place filter, put coffee in until it looks about right for today, and start the coffee.
