The Best Pinto Beans Ever Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. Camellia Pinto Beans
  • 12 cups water
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 strips crisp fried bacon
  • 4 drops Tobasco Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Rinse and sort beans. Cover with water and boil gently for 15 minutes. Then start over with fresh water and let come to a boil. Saute' onion and garlic until wilted and add to beans. Cook for 1 hour and 45 minutes on medium heat. Add salt, pepper, Tobasco and crispy fried bacon and cook for another 15 minutes.

I do love pintos and its a big thing in my house. I have ate them cooked many ways but never your way.So I am eager to try them this way. Sounds delicious!


I ADD 5 JALEPENO SLICES, GREEN ONIONS TOPS & BOTTOMS ABOUT 1 CUP, INSTEAD OF ONE ONION I USE 3, AND I ADD 3 TABLESPOONS OF SUGAR.. ALONG WITH WHAT U HAVE AS INGREDIENTS.. AND I PAR BOIL MY BEANS.. CRAP JUST GO LOOK AT MY RECIPE.. I MISS YOU.. TRUST ME YOU WILL LOVE IT..
