Yummy Fresh Crowder Peas N Butter Beans Mixed

Yummy but, Alas..The Last of our Crowder Peas n Butter Beans
Ingredients
- The Last of our Crowder peas n butter beans shopping list
- 4 slices bacon shopping list
- 1 small onion, chopped shopping list
- About a pound of shelled and cleaned crowder peas shopping list
- 2 cups of shelled and cleaned butter beans (all we had left) :( shopping list
- 4 cups (or more) water (do not allow to dry in pan, the shopping list
- liquid taste very good also with cornbread!) shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt (optional) shopping list
- salt n pepper to your taste shopping list
How to make it
- Place bacon in a skillet or just microwave it..cooking until almost crisp. (save about 3 tbls. bacon fat)
- Mix all other ingrediants and cook as long as you like..we like them done, but firm.
- (I am NOT sure of cooking time, it is pretty fast).
