Moms Pound Cake

- 1/2 lb of butter (2 sticks) shopping list
- 1/2 cup of Crisco shopping list
- 3 cups sugar shopping list
- 6 large eggs shopping list
- 3 cups of plain sifted flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 tbl vanilla flavoring shopping list
- 1 cup whipping cream shopping list
How to make it
- In a mixer cream butter, crisco, and sugar together.
- Add eggs to mixer one at a time while mixing.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt then add to mixer slowly.
- Add cream and flavoring.
- BEAT UNTIL REAL SMOOTH!
- Pour into greased bunt pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
- Let stay in bunt pan for 30 minutes before turning it out to cool.
