Danny Boomes Sheperds Pie

- 1 table spoon butter shopping list
- 1 table spoon olive oil shopping list
- 1 onion diced shopping list
- 2 carrots diced shopping list
- 2 stalks celery ( I chopped up the leaves and used them in the end) shopping list
- 2-3 cloves garlic (lee or more to your taste) shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoon tomato paste shopping list
- 1/12-2 pounds ground chuck (angus if available) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup beef stock shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peas shopping list
- Cheesey mashed potatoes from 4 pounds yukon gold potatoes with 1 cup shredded white cheddar added (make potatoes as you would normally make them, these will go on top. shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Add onions, carrots celery and ground chuck and cook along with the butter and oil for 15-20 min until veggies are soften
- add tomato paste to pan and mix well add worcestershire and beef stock and simmer 10 min
- add frozen peas cook 3-5 min
- transfer to a ovenproof baking dish
- add the mashed potatoes on top and run a fork through the top
- bake 20 min until browned
- I served this tonight with fresh corn on the cob and cresent rolls
- ** I prep everything before hand it made it a breeze to make, really. Let me know what you think.
