Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 F.
  • Add onions, carrots celery and ground chuck and cook along with the butter and oil for 15-20 min until veggies are soften
  • add tomato paste to pan and mix well add worcestershire and beef stock and simmer 10 min
  • add frozen peas cook 3-5 min
  • transfer to a ovenproof baking dish
  • add the mashed potatoes on top and run a fork through the top
  • bake 20 min until browned
  • I served this tonight with fresh corn on the cob and cresent rolls
  • ** I prep everything before hand it made it a breeze to make, really. Let me know what you think.

    I make a creole version of this with sauteed veggies, mashed potatoes and a spicy creole sauce. I got the idea from paul Prudome but adapted to my own taste. It is very good and people are crazy over it. I am sure your version is very good too. It sounds delish! Thanks for posting! Deb
