This dessert has been in my family for decades, it is very easy and simple to make and everyone loves it alot..give it a try.

Ingredients
  • 3 -cup sugar (24 0Z)
  • 4- cup flour (32 0Z)
  • 6 - Tbs of apricot preserves
  • 4- Tbs cocoa powder
  • 2- heaping tsp of cinnamon
  • 2- tsp baking soda
  • 3-cup milk (24 0Z)
  • Chocolate Glaze
  • 1- 8 ounce bar of Hersey's special dark chocolate
  • 1 - stick sweet butter
  • melt togther in microwave til smooth.

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until very smooth.
  2. spray pam in the bottom of a 19 x 12 inch pan...make sure the pan has high edges.
  3. preheat oven to 350 and bake for 50 to 60 minutes til center springs back.
  4. leave in pan and spread with apricot preserves.
  5. prepare chocolate glaze.
  6. spread with chocolate glaze after cake cools, or chocolate will melt.
  7. cut into 2x2 squares.
