Moroccan Beef With Honey Spice Couscous

- 1-1/2 pounds beef flank steak shopping list
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup honey shopping list
- 1/2 cup olive oil shopping list
- honey-Spice Couscous: shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- 1/3 cup steak marinade shopping list
- 1 can garbanzo beans shopping list
- 1 cup fresh seeded and chopped tomatoes shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley shopping list
- 12 ounce package couscous shopping list
How to make it
- To prepare marinade combine vinegar and seasonings then stir well.
- Add honey and oil stirring until blended then remove 1/3 cup marinade.
- Place flank steak in plastic bag then add remaining marinade turning to coat.
- Close bag securely and marinate in refrigerator 1 hour or up to overnight.
- Preheat skillet over medium heat then remove steak from marinade and discard marinade.
- Place steak in skillet and cook 10 minutes then turn steak.
- Cover and reduce heat to low then cook 10 minutes.
- Slice steak into thin slices then serve with pan juices.
- In large saucepan combine water, reserved marinade, beans, tomatoes and parsley.
- Bring to a boil over high heat then stir in couscous.
- Cover and remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes then fluff with fork to serve.
