Pecan Rice Casserole Supreme

- 1 cup pecans chopped fine shopping list
- 3/4 cup raw brown rice shopping list
- 1-1/4 cup grated ricotta cheese shopping list
- 1 cup mushrooms chopped small shopping list
- 1 cup wheat germ shopping list
- 1 large white onion minced shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 eggs beaten shopping list
- mushroom Gravy: shopping list
- 1 teaspoon olive oil shopping list
- 1 cup mushrooms thinly sliced shopping list
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour shopping list
- 1-3/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vegetable broth powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Combine pecans, rice, cheese, mushrooms, wheat germ, onion, garlic, cayenne and salt together and mix thoroughly.
- Add eggs and mix again.
- Pour into a well oiled baking pan.
- Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
- Let sit 5 minutes before cutting and serving with hot mushroom gravy.
- For gravy heat butter and sauté mushrooms.
- Sprinkle on flour and brown by stirring over medium heat.
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to a low boil.
- Turn heat to low.
- Stir, cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.

Beautiful! I know a lot of people do not associate pecans with garlic, that is because they have never tried Turkish Tarator ( walnuts and garlic).Delicious!
