Another recipe I found while going to recipe book.

Ingredients
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 stick oleo
- Note: It has been suggested to melt the butter. Makes sence to me.
Directions
- Grease 9 x 13 inch pan.
- Spread pineapple over bottom of pan.
- Spread cherry pie filling over pineapple.
- Sprinkle cake mix over the fruits.
- Top with nuts.
- Break oleo into small pieces and sprinkle on top.
- Do Not Mix.
- Bake 1 hour or until brown at 325 to 350 degrees.
- Cut into squares and serve.
- =====================================================
- Note: I don't know why recipe gives two bake times.

I always melt the butter which seems to keep the topping from sometimes having some "dry spots".

Yes Jett is so right, this is great with ice cream. I remember making this on vacation at the beach one year and the teenage boys of the other family asked me to make it again. It really is a tasty, moist cake and once again, oh so easy! I know it's a 5! Peg
