How to make it

  • Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in 4 quart saucepan. Add 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil and saute onions and garlic until slightly brown. Add beans, tomatoes, salt, sugar, sage leaves and broth. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add Rice and cook for 30 minutes or until broth is absorbed and rice is done.
  • Add remaining butter, oil and cheese.
  • Serve hot.
