Maple Syrup Mustard Glaze For Pork Loin Recipe

Maple Syrup Mustard Glaze For Pork Loin Recipe
OK - I don't know where I got this recipe. The ingredients were scribbled on a piece of paper and thrown into the "try" pile. I remember when I saw it, it looked like it would be good on pork. So that is what I did with it.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 Tbs. Dijon mustard
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tbs. balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • One 2 lb. pork loin

Directions
  1. Whisk all ingredients together (except the pork). I glazed the pork with one third of the mixture before I put it in the oven, another third about halfway through cooking and the remainder about 15 minutes before the pork got done. Roast pork in a 350F oven for 30 to 40 minutes per pound or until meat thermometer registers 180 when stuck into the thickest point. Let meat rest, covered (I waited 10 minutes) before slicing.
