Maple Syrup Mustard Glaze For Pork Loin
From frankieanne 15 years agoIngredients
- 1/4 cup maple syrup shopping list
- 2 Tbs. Dijon mustard shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 1 Tbs. balsamic vinegar shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- One 2 lb. pork loin shopping list
How to make it
- Whisk all ingredients together (except the pork). I glazed the pork with one third of the mixture before I put it in the oven, another third about halfway through cooking and the remainder about 15 minutes before the pork got done. Roast pork in a 350F oven for 30 to 40 minutes per pound or until meat thermometer registers 180 when stuck into the thickest point. Let meat rest, covered (I waited 10 minutes) before slicing.

I made this yesterday and posted my pics, but I see now that I forgot to rate it. :( I liked it a lot, although I did use chops instead of a roast and cooked it on the stovetop instead of the oven. Added to the IMI thread that mr p started...

I used this on a pretty small pork loin I had (probably under a lb) so I just made half the marinade. Yummy! It was all eaten up and nobody complained ;) Very easy and delicious recipe Frankie! Added my pic to the nice collection.
