Ingredients
  • Burgers
  • 1/2 C (2 ounces) crumbled Feta cheese
  • 1 tbl chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 tsp grated lemon rind
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 lb lean ground lamb
  • 3/4 lb lean ground turkey breast
  • Cooking spray
  • 3 (6 inch) pitas, cut in half
  • 6 Tbl Tzatziki sauce
  • Sauce
  • 3/4 C plain low fat yogurt
  • 2 Tbl grated, peeled and seeded cucumber
  • 1 1/2tsp minced onion
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • Combine all ingredients
  • Refrigerate in air-tight container for up to 2 days
  • Yield about 3/4 C

Directions
  1. Prepare grill
  2. Combine first 8 ingredients
  3. Divide mixture into 6 equal portions, shaping into 1/2 thick burgers
  4. Place patties on grill rack coated with cooking spray or brushed with oil
  5. Grill 6 minutes on easch side or until thermometer registers 165
  6. Remove from Gri; let rest 5 minutes
  7. Place 1 patty in each pita half; drizzle with 1 Tbl Tzatziki sauce
  8. Tuck tomato slices and lettuce into pitas, if desired
