Greek Lamb Burgers

- Burgers shopping list
- 1/2 C (2 ounces) crumbled feta cheese shopping list
- 1 tbl chopped fresh rosemary shopping list
- 2 tsp grated lemon rind shopping list
- 2 tsp chopped fresh oregano shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 3/4 lb lean ground lamb shopping list
- 3/4 lb lean ground turkey breast shopping list
- cooking spray shopping list
- 3 (6 inch) pitas, cut in half shopping list
- 6 Tbl tzatziki sauce shopping list
- Sauce shopping list
- 3/4 C plain low fat yogurt shopping list
- 2 Tbl grated, peeled and seeded cucumber shopping list
- 1 1/2tsp minced onion shopping list
- 1/8 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper shopping list
- Combine all ingredients shopping list
- Refrigerate in air-tight container for up to 2 days shopping list
- Yield about 3/4 C shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare grill
- Combine first 8 ingredients
- Divide mixture into 6 equal portions, shaping into 1/2 thick burgers
- Place patties on grill rack coated with cooking spray or brushed with oil
- Grill 6 minutes on easch side or until thermometer registers 165
- Remove from Gri; let rest 5 minutes
- Place 1 patty in each pita half; drizzle with 1 Tbl Tzatziki sauce
- Tuck tomato slices and lettuce into pitas, if desired
