Pumpkin Doughnuts

- 4 cups flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 cup pumpkin shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
- 1 cup evaporated milk shopping list
- Frosting: shopping list
- 3 cups powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon orange rind shopping list
- 2 tablespoons orange juice shopping list
- 1 tablespoon evaporated milk shopping list
How to make it
- Combine dry ingredients.
- Combine liquid ingredients.
- Add dry mixture to the liquid mixture and mix well then chill for 2 hours.
- Knead 6 times on a floured board then roll to 1/4" thickness and cut with a doughnut cutter.
- Deep fry until golden brown.
- Combine all frosting ingredients and dip doughnuts in it.
