Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
  • Brush chicken with melted butter; sprinkle with taco seasoning. Place chicken onto grill. Close lid; grill, turning occasionally, until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear when pierced with a fork (15 to 20 minutes).
  • Meanwhile, combine sour cream, chiles, milk and salt in small bowl.
  • To serve, spoon sour cream mixture over grilled chicken; sprinkle with cilantro.
  • TIP: To store leftover chiles, pour remainder of can into resealable plastic freezer bag. Press out air; tightly seal bag. Place bag into freezer, pressing chiles into a single layer. Once frozen, break off one chile at a time as needed.

This is right up my alley. If hubby wasn't sick of chicken right now, I'd make this tonight. Saving for later. Good post.

I made this for dinner tonight, and it was good! I ended up broiling the chicken in my oven for about 20 minutes, and the chicken turned out really nice. Thanks for the recipe!

Definitely got my 5!! Made for lunch today for my son who came for a visit. I used homemade taco seasoning and it really turned out nice. Followed the recipe for the chicken and cream sauce except---cooked in the oven in my cast iron grill skillet. Served with Twice baked potatoes and a nice garden salad with a Chunky, creamy bleu cheese dressing. Son really enjoyed. My 2 grandsons (2 & 3) were here for lunch , they both really enjoyed the chicken minus the chipotle cream sauce. Looking forward to slicing the left over chicken and topping a salad with the chicken and a drizzle of the Chipotle cream sauce for lunch tomorrow. LOVED the tip, knew there had to be an easier way to store left over chipotles.

Like the idea of sprinkling the Taco seasoning on the chicken before grilling. The sauce is the kicker. Thanks, sounds like a great recipe.
