Cinnamon Waffle Cookies Recipe

This is not like your the usual waffles.
It is a German recipe and the waffle is almost like a shortbread cookie.

Ingredients
- 125g butter ( 1 stick and 2 tablespoons)
- 125g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 250g all purpose flour
Directions
- Mix all ingredients.
- Dough will be very stiff.
- Form golf size balls from dough.
- Put dough ball in your Waffle maker and bake for approx. 3 to 4 minutes or until no more steam escapes from waffle iron.
- Serve waffle cookies as they are or with whipped cream and cherries.

Yes they are very easy and just a great sweet treat. I love them just like that right off the hot waffle iron. They are great with a cup of coffee. When I get unexpected guests I throw them togehter and they are always a big HIT.
