Frozen Pea and Lettuce Salad Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Layer first 5 ingredients.
  • Spread mayo over the top.
  • Sprinkle sugar over the top.
  • Next sprinkle cheese on the top.
  • You can also then sprinkle bacos (1/4 cup) if desired.
  • Refrigerate overnight, covered with wrap.

    The peas are a little sweet, too - so I guess the brown sugar only complements the flavor! Great recipe!

    The brown sugar sounds strange. I guess I will have to try this to see how it is! Sweet + savoury goes well together, so we'll see. I'd probably season with a bit of S&P too.

    Can't wait to try this now. I am so curious!
