Sweet-potato And Onion Soup

OK! So this was discovered by mistake. I wanted to make vegetable soup. I prepared all the ingredients, put the first two in a pot put in the water and then ....... omg. ..... The phone rang. The onions and sweet-potato were cooking away without anything else and I was busy on the phone. Read more When I finally became aware of a delicious smell coming from the kitchen, I banged down the phone,ran to the kitchen and congratulated myself on the birth of a new recipe. Since then I have made it many times but I never managed to get the taste of that first time. Enjoy! See less
Ingredients
- 2 large onions. shopping list
- black pepper shopping list
- 1 large sweet potato. shopping list
- more black pepper shopping list
- 3 cups of water shopping list
- salt & black pepper. shopping list
- optional: more black pepper. (get the idea) shopping list
- believe it or not! THAT'S IT! shopping list
How to make it
- Peel Onions and cut into 1/8ths.
- Peel sweet potato and slice into thick slices.
- Put everything into a pot and bring to a boil.
- Put the flame on low and cook for about another 30 minutes.
- let it cool a little and blend everything together with hand blender
