Ls Chicken Fried Rice

- ¾ cup diced cooked chicken shopping list
- ½ tsp cornstarch shopping list
- ¼ tsp salt shopping list
- 1 Tbl vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten shopping list
- 2 Tbl vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 can (8 oz) water chestnuts, drained and sliced shopping list
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms shopping list
- mixed vegetables (frozen or any leftovers in the fridge) shopping list
- ½ tsp salt shopping list
- 2 Tbl vegetable oil shopping list
- 3 cups cooked rice shopping list
- 1 Tbl soy sauce shopping list
- 1 Tbl green onion (chopped w/tops) shopping list
- Dash of seasoned pepper (blend of 5 different types of pepper) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix chicken, cornstarch and ¼ teaspoon salt.
- Heat wok or large skillet until hot.
- Add 1 Tbl oil (use to coat pan)
- Add eggs: cook and stir until eggs are chickened through but still moist.
- Remove eggs from pan.
- Add 2 tablespoons oil (coat bottom and sides)
- Add chicken, water chestnuts, mushrooms mixed vegetables, and ½ teaspoon salt
- Stir fry 1 minute.
- Remove from pan.
- Add 2 tablespoons oil (coat bottom and sides)
- Add rice; stir-fry 1 minute.
- Stir in soy sauce.
- Add chicken mixture, eggs, green onion and white pepper.
- Stir-fry 30 seconds.
