How to make it

  • In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and butter. Stir in flour. Chill 1 hour. Shape into 2 dozen, 1" balls. Using a 1 3/4" muffin tin Is the easiest way to keep the cookies uniform in size and shape, but they can be made on a regular cookie sheet. Place each ball in an ungreased muffin tin and thumbprint the dough to create an indentation for filling.
  • For Filling:
  • Beat all ingredients (except pecans) until smooth. Place a tiny amount of pecans in the indentation of the cookie and finish filling with mixture. Top with remaining pecans. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes
