- 4 eggs,beaten shopping list
- 1-1/2 Cup bread Crumbs(2 Slices) shopping list
- 1(8oz) water chestnuts,drained and finely chopped shopping list
- 1(8oz) bamboo shoots,drained and finely chopped shopping list
- 1-1/2 Cups green onions with tops,finely chopped shopping list
- 3 Tablespoon soy sauce shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon crystallized ginger,finely chopped shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 3 Pounds Lean Ground pork shoulder shopping list
- cornstarch shopping list
- For the Sweet and Sour Sauce: shopping list
- 2 Cups orange juice shopping list
- 1-1/2 Cups beef broth shopping list
- 1 Cup cider vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 Cup soy sauce shopping list
- 2/3 Cup sugar shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons ,finely chopped crystallized ginger. shopping list
- Bring all sauce mixture to boil,combine 1/3 cup cornstarch and 1 Cup of water ,stir into sauce and cook ,stirring until thickened and bubbly. shopping list
How to make it
- For Chinese Meat Balls:
- In bowl combine egg,bread crumbs,water chestnuts,bamboo shoots,green onion,soy sauce,ginger,and salt.
- Mix well.
- Add pork and mix well.
- Chill for 1 hour.
- Shape into 1" balls.roll in cornstarch.
- Cook a few at a time in a deep hot oil(375 degrees) for about 2 minutes or until browned.
- Serve warm in Sweet and Sour Sauce.
