How to make it

  • Brown beef in margarine in a 6 quart saucepot.
  • Add onions and continue browning for 5 minutes.
  • Drain off excess fat.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Cover and cook for 25 to 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • Allow to cool partly.
  • Place in 3 quart bowl and store covered in refrigerator overnight.
  • Reheat and serve.
  • Makes 12 (1 cup servings.)
  • Use part for dinner.
  • Place remainder in appropriately sized freezing containers.
  • Label and freeze for future use.
