Refrigerator Stew

- 1 1/2 lbs. chopped beef shopping list
- 2 tablespoons margarine shopping list
- 2 cups sliced onions shopping list
- 2 cups sliced celery shopping list
- 2 cups sliced carrots shopping list
- 2 cups diced potatoes shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley shopping list
- 1 can (17 oz.) great northern beans (or your favorite beans) shopping list
- 2 cans (15 oz each) spaghetti sauce with meat shopping list
How to make it
- Brown beef in margarine in a 6 quart saucepot.
- Add onions and continue browning for 5 minutes.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook for 25 to 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Allow to cool partly.
- Place in 3 quart bowl and store covered in refrigerator overnight.
- Reheat and serve.
- Makes 12 (1 cup servings.)
- Use part for dinner.
- Place remainder in appropriately sized freezing containers.
- Label and freeze for future use.
